Louisa Krause was born in New York City. She is an American actress. Krause played her debut movie role in Babysitters where she played Brenda Woodberg. Krause was a drama student in college and then appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions while also playing in episodes of New York-based network television shows. The family is from American and half-Japanese descent. Her older brother Nathaniel is an actor. After studying at Washington School of Ballet and participating in plays, musicals as well as other shows from Henry Krieger as well as Bill Russell in high school she started to pursue her interest in the arts. She attended an acting class at Carnegie Mellon Drama School after the high school. Krause was able to start her acting career soon after. Krause earned her Equity card by performing in a musical-based production of Aida. Louisa Krause began her career performing in theatre. She made her debut in the year 2006 with her company, the Huntington Theatre Company. In 2007, she performed Iphigenia in the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 performance.
